Developing skills

This past week, I was able to develop many new skills due to updating and following up with my digital portfolio. Usually whenever I complete my assessments and blogs, I make sure to fill in my digital portfolio with my completed assignments, however, I found some difficulty with formatting my primary and secondary sources. Through guidance of my family members and peers, I was able to learn new technology skills through this ISM journey. This will most definitely help me throughout my entire year of ISM as this is something that I have to complete so I’m glad I was able to learn this new skill. Additionally, I cold called more and more hospitals for the purpose of securing interviews. I faced a tough challenge this past week regarding interviews due to the professional postponing the interview quite a few times and it’s something that I hadn’t come across before. Usually the doctor would take a few days to reply, however, this one got me to realize that it’s not only the professional’s schedule that matters but also mine has to go along with this. I have yet to wait for a response from the doctor but it was actually an experience that got me to learn new things which can benefit me in the future.
