First times

This past week for my ISM journey, I focused on my mentor visit as the highlight of my week. I was able to conduct a virtual zoom meeting with Dr. Yomna Farooqi where we discussed the basis of ISM and what the different aspects inside of it are. We talked about my original work and I thoroughly explained to her my entire thinking process plus how I came about my final original work. Next, we talked about the process of the final product and I asked her for any ideas she may have for what I could do as my final product. Although I still am not set on what I want my final product to be, before my second mentor visit, I hope to have a set of ideas planned out so that me and Dr. Farooqi can go through all of the ideas written down and she can provide me with insight on each one. In addition to my first mentor visit, I also built up on my speech I gave in class to my peers and classmates. I found this speech refreshing as it also gave me a chance to look back at how much ISM has really taught me and the amount of skills I will carry on from this program to use for the long run.
