Progress & Progressing

This past week in ISM for me has been quite an eventful one. It’s been a little different from the previous week and I’m glad to say I have progressed in the process of securing an interview. I was able to get accepted by a few more doctors on LinkedIn and was able to send out my request for an interview. I’m also planning on emailing a variety of professionals in Pediatrics that I have chosen from nearby hospitals and I plan on sending out my emails over the weekend. Over my experience of reaching out to different doctors, I was able to gain an understanding of their own background and what colleges they may have attended through their profiles. This allowed me to learn more about them and possibly be able to relate with them if one of my dream colleges is the one they have attended in the past. A lot of the doctors I have reached out to are specialized in different fields within Pediatrics, which is great to me, so I would be able to form my interview questions surrounding their qualifications. Next week, I hope to have at least 2 interviews scheduled and I will make sure I am confident and prepared to do well during these interviews. There are still so many questions that wander around in my head which I would love to ask my future interviewees.
