The Journey of Researching

During my time researching for an article I find a passion for, contemplating which aspect of Pediatric Surgery I should research, the only thing going through my head was there are too many things about my topic of study that I want to know more about. However, I thought back to how the world is currently changing due to the COVID-19 pandemic and how the healthcare industry has been altered in so many different ways due to this ongoing pandemic affecting the entire world. That’s when I decided to settle on a very recent study about how COVID-19 has had potential connections to MIS-C that has impacted several children around the world. While researching for an article, I myself hadn’t realized that I already developed a skill to be able to find a credible source. Though this seems like an easy skill to acquire, this same skill will help me throughout the rest of my ISM journey and the rest of my life. Being able to find a source that is accurate and relevant is not the simplest thing, however, by practicing finding a source that I can use for my assignment, I was also able to help expand my knowledge even further. During this past week, I picked up on various skills that I would not even be able to recognize and which will help me be successful throughout my future.
